This Young Adult, Fantasy series is very difficult to put down. It’s filled with ups and downs, and love and friendship and will definitely fill you with awe. It depicts Shadowhunters, part-angels, and takes us into their complex world. The story has all the magical creatures–werewolves, vampires, faeries, demons, warlocks, practically everything you can imagine. If you’re a fan of fantasy, then this book is highly recommended by me. It is extremely thrilling and full of adventure and will definitely keep you on the edge of your seat. These series also have movies and a TV-show based on them. For anyone who doesn’t like to read a lot can watch those but for all you bookworms out there, this is a must for your “Books To Read” list. The story revolves around Clary Fray, a girl who accidently stumbles upon something that she shouldn’t have and soon secrets unravel, and she realizes that her world has been a lie. She, along with her best friend, Simon is taken on a journey that is filled with a lot of hardships as well as fun.
These books created a lot of thrill in my life and I had anxiously waited for each book to come. Cassandra Clare has written several other series, based on Shadowhunters, each series linked to each other. The Infernal Devices, Dark Artifices are some of her other amazing books. I assure you this one thing, once you’re sucked into this world, you’ll never want to come out of it.
